Mr. UPS delivered my boom about half an hour ago and...it's beautiful!

Setup was a breeze as usual (I installed 7.2 yesterday). I can imagine some people are going to think their remote is broken because you have to open it up and remove a sticker from the battery and it doesn't tell you this anywhere, but I figured it was something like that and it only took a minute of fiddling to figure out how to get it open.

I'm actually not big on the remote. It's nice and small, but doesn't seem to give you the functionality required to easily thumb through a large music collection. I will probably use one of my other remotes instead.

Sound quality is also excellent for such a small box. It's not going to break any volume records, but it's just right for a bedroom, which is what I had in mind.

The biggest problem with it is I already want another one.

The beta units had the "sticker" sticking out from the battery compartment letting you know you had to open and remove it.

I wouldn't mind seeing a photo of the box ... Logitech packaging is usually pretty nice!

I should have taken photos of the packaging as I unwrapped it. IMO the packaging is very nice, even a bit nicer than the SB3. The unit comes wrapped in a very nice black cotton sock with drawstring that could be used to store it in.

The remote is supposed to be packaged with a white card containing an illustration of how to remove the sticker. Your remote had no such card?

Mine had a card.

Mine had a card.

Thanks. Hopefully lanierb's missing card was an isolated mistake.

As more folks get theirs, I'd appreciate reports of whether the IR remote is packaged with a battery removal instruction card. If it's reported missing from any more boxes, I'll investigate.
