Background downloads

Hi I was wondering if sb3 uses any internet download access when idle or playing music from your server. Also is the download for 1hr listerning of internet radio at 128k the same as what a one hour cd rippped to 128k is. (?60 meg give or take 10)

No. It does synchronize your settings with squeezenetwork.com (if you enabled this) and will exchange some information about internet radio stations. But other than that there shouldn't be much traffic.

The only large thing SC downloads is Controller firmware, but this doesn't happen very often.
