I've dug out the old slimp3 server, which used to have an rc.slimp3 file for
suse startup. I've modified to something that should work for slimserver as
installed from teh rpm, but it may need tweaking. I don't use suse, so I amnot
sure and I can't test it.

Hopefully it can get you started.

Maybe its worth Slim Devices having a folder in CVS for startup scripts, even if
they don't go into the main build.
