same - just posted at the end of the main thread but am hoping it will be resolved without too much input from me as I took days to get SB up and running and def not a techy person. HELP!

I spoke too soon - it's back for SB3 but sbc/sbr combo don't work

Well I've had to set up again but it seems to be running ok now.

Theres something with the players to, Ive had to do a lot of fiddling to get the controller to see my players,i had to turn on my server and Ive managed to switch back and forth with my SB3 and ir and eventually got SBC to catch on.
Then it was possible to find my SBR. And some more random stuff I dint remeber now

So some users have to redo the setup procedure if the SN crashes, is there an bug report for that one yet ? it can not stay this way.

Users who experience this should file a bug, I give my vote if theres an bug entry.

Sorry - this is all too complex for a beginner who has bought what was plugged as an excellent device - and is - when it works which seems to be about 60% of the time to me after a month's use.

Please would you translate what you mean by the server - ? the router??

and THAT is the main deal guys. this post should be put on a blackboard at the next meeting at slim. from reading other posts, i know that there are a lot of programmers/IT guys around here, but i always ask myself when dealing with items like my Transporter - would my mom be able to use this? when i read post after post about coding in linux and assigning IP addresses and stuff, i think "WHAT???" isn't this just supposed to work?". and for most of us, despite all the tips and tricks listed on these forums, it doesn't a lot of the time. it's damn frustrating. i say this as i stare at my dead transporter, stating it can't connect to squeezenetwork AGAIN. time to unplug the unit, reset everything and fiddle for awhile AGAIN.

My SB3 is not connecting to the SN, but I can get to the Web UI. I think something is up... I mean down.
