I am trying to understand how to make the squeezebox software use the Apple
LAME encoder....most of my music library is encoded in APPLE AAC files, and
I understand it is possible to make the software use the lame encoder
³on-the-fly² to convert the files to mp3 before serving them out wirelessly..
Does anyone know how to make the software do this?
Otherwise when I try to play AAC files via squeezebox, the software
uncompresses it and there is not enough bandwidth on my network and I get
massive drop out and horrible sound.
