AC/DC adapter, need a little help on size

I have an extra AC/DC adapter that I purchased via Ebay. right voltage, right amps, etc...

However the plug is a little too small for the SqueezeBox 2 unit (SB 2).

Anyone know how many millimeters outside and inside diameter the plug is or if not, perhaps what color the ring is at the top of the plug?

I am not at home so I cannot look at my own plug.
went to radio Shack and there are too many variations in plug size for me to even eyeball it.
