IR Blaster with SB Controller and SB3

Just got my Duet yesterday and love the new controller. The one issue I have stumbled across is with my SB3 where I use the IR Blaster plugin to control my Emotiva MMC1. When pressing Volume_Up on the SBC, it does not appear to send the IR command to the MMC1. Volume_Down works fine and in fact if I press Volume_Down and then Volume_Up before the volume indicator disappears on the SBC screen, I can raise the volume (but of course I cannot raise the volume above my starting point). When I use the SB3 IR remote the Volume_Up button works as expected.

I have the volume fixed at 100. I tried changing it to 80, but that did not appear to change the behavior.

Any suggestions? I am trying to avoid the remote control juggling routine:)
