Sun shade for Squeeze Controller / Beer

Summer is almost here and i'm thinking about making some kind of contraption that I could rest the Duet controller and a can / bottle of beer in. I love to sit in the sun, take a dip in the pool, listen to music, drink a few beers and relax. I obviously want to protect the controller from the sun, water, etc..I figured this contraption would also eliminate me 'creating' shade to set my beer in everytime i sit on the deck...If you have any ideas, please let me know...So far i imagine building some kind of conversation piece that resembles looking at the inside of a bar / grill with the roof of the building taken off. Maybe a 'bar rail' w/ stools could hold the beer, and something that looks like a jukebox could hold the controller. Hot glue and barbie furniture type of stuff, I don't know...maybe 1' wide x 8" tall???

I can appreciate your attempt to kill two birds here, but putting a beer in the same 'room' with the controller sounds dangerous. Besides, that's what koozies* are for.

Instead of the diorama, you could keep a cigar box full of bottle and can koozies, which would double as a place to store the Controller. Or maybe what we need is a Controller Koozie.
