Transporter knob not working correctly

I noticed this morning that my Transporter front-panel knob isn't working correctly.

If I navigate a list, I feel the heavier resistance as I run over the end of the list or go past the start of the list. However, once past the resistance, there's hardly any resistance to be felt in the knob and the list selection doesn't move. I have to press the knob button in, and then the resistance comes back.

Also, the pressing the button doesn't always seem to do anything.

I'm wondering if this could be a recent firmware issue, or whether my unit has suddenly gone faulty :(

Sorry to hear. Does power-cycling Transporter fix it? Also what firmware version is on your Transporter?

Have you recently upgraded to FW40? If so, you almost certainly need to reprogram the xilinx. Pull the power cord out the back and hold 1 while it powers on.

Thanks - that was it. xilinx reprogram sorted it out.
