Are there any internal 'guts' piccies of the Receiver out there?

I mainly want to know if the screen and buttons are hard wired onto the board or on ribbon cables (most mobile phone screens are so I assume the receiver screen is and I'm hoping the scroll wheel/button assembly is too).

Any pictures of this available anywhere, I'm having thoughts on modding one for in-car use and want to see what what the options are.

Just as a quick correction - the remote bundled in the Duet package is called the Controller - the Receiver is the display-less Squeezebox.
