That's imho up to your browser. There's no magic involved on the SC side
of things: a simple link with a target. We did have JS to handle the
opening of the settings, but then people were complaining about it opening
a new window instead of a new tab. I fear we just can't please any one on
any browser.
BTW: that's no Jive issue, should rather be in the Beta forum.
