Jive on iPod Touch

Hi

I was just wondering if anyone has had any luck running Jive on the iPod Touch. I would love to try Jive on a handheld device but as I live in Australia I don't think I can be part of the hardware test.

I have a Transporter in the living room and a SB3 in the bedroom and I'm running SC7.0. Whilst I love the new default web interface it doesn't scale well on the iPod Touch (or rather Safari on the iPod Touch doesn't scale the page well...)

So if anyone has made any headway in getting Jive running on the "touch" I would love to hear about it.

As far as i know, it hasn't been attempted yet, at least not officially.

I can't see Jive being ported to other platforms until they have worked through the bugs and issues with the current hardware development platform.

Thanks for your reply funkstar. Yep, I wasn't thinking of any official testing but I thought some keen coder may have given it a try.

Thanks for the suggestion gb115b. Unfortunately the iPod touch/Safari combo doesn't support flash.

So I've bought myself a HTML/CSS/Javascript book and I've started studying/cramming so that I can attempt to modify one of the existing SqueezeCentre skins for the iPod. I been looking at the iPhone/iPod Touch style guide on the Apple Dev forums so that I can mimic the Apple look.

I'll also keep my fingers crossed that Jive might one day run on the iPod Touch. It would be SO sexy
