Possible Brightness glitch in r692

in settings > controller settings > brightness

if you scroll the brightness, between roughtly 80 and 90 %, the display backlight drops out completely

am i the only one getting this?

As it's a hardware
incompatibility existing hardware won't be fixed.
Understandable... but one of the big plusses of having such rich firmware is that changes can be made to work around hardware glitches! In this case, to stop the user from selecting the bad brightness setting.
