View Full Version : Removing the 11.2896 crystal on SB2?

It looks like this crystal is partially underneath the daughterboard with the UBICOM and AMD chips. How do I remove this board to get to the cyrstal? The white connect appears to be glued together on my unit. Also I need to get to the dac chip. I assume this is also under the daughterboard? Any assistance much appreciated!

OK, I was able to remove the daughterboard. The connector had been glued together!

If you remove this crystal your SB2 wont work anymore!

Better remove the other one which only affects Internet radio :P
