installed mini-PCI card in SB3... where's the antenna?

Hello,

I recently got a mini-PCI card from a wireless SB3 from a member who sold it to me as he wasn't using the wireless connection.

So I have it in my SB3 now (haven't powered it up yet) but I don't see where the antenna would connect... any thoughts? Pictures are especially helpful!

I'm planning on using this antenna:

There are 2 U.FL connectors http://www.hirose.co.jp/cataloge_hp/e32119372.pdf on the opposite end of the wireless card to where you plug it in. The SB3 has two wireless antennas that are attached to these and stuck to the board.

So you either need the antennas, or you need the correct adapter to get from UFL to (probably) the reverse SMA of your external antenna.

These connectors are all a real minefield, so make sure you get the correct type, and version (reverse or not), as well as male or female.

Quick question: do you think eBay item # 230130715304 will fit?

I'm going to take a closer look once I get home... I really hope this can be solved for <$10...

It would fit, but compared to the originals, the antenna end is more bulky and the cable is much longer. The SB3 ones are about 6" long.
