I'm not sure I understand your problem. If you need some
way to visually separate your various artists CDs from
the others, you might use an album tag of
"Various Artists - Album Name"
to have them sort together in album view under "V"

I'm not sure I understand your problem. If you need some
way to visually separate your various artists CDs from
the others, you might use an album tag of
