Hi, I followed the discussions the other day: I would love to use the multi
genre feature but until it is available I want to misuse the
conductor/composer/band tags for it to keep and overview on my collection.
I've tagged all my mp3 with MP3tag (http://www.mp3tag.de/en/index.html),
yes in english. Great freeware program for (mass) updates but it does only
the basic tags.
Does anyone know of a good tagger that supports conductor/composer/band
(under windows)?
Another question:
How do you guys tag the 'Various artists' CD's. Currently I put artist -
song in the title tag (1) and put 'various artists' in the artist tag. I
found that many also put the artist-song info in the Artist tag (2).
With (1) the songs do not show under the artist name but only under various
artists. with (2) the song shows up in the artist list on the slimp3 but
with a separate entry as the song is added. This makes the artist list way
too long to browse it with the remote.
Who has the ultimate system for tagging the files?
Thanks!
Willem
