I have reset my wifi system with a new router. I set it all up, and as far as the Squeezebox goes it works fine.

However I can't access my QNAP from the browser on my PC or via the control panel.

If I run the utility it says Slimserver is there at 192.168.0.103 but when I try that in the browser it can't find it.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

http://192.168.1.15:9000/ should be what you want.

Sorry, thats mine. Yours is 192.168.0.103:9000

Thanks. I knew the address but it didn't work.

The tried and trusted method of sleeping on it. Turning it all off and turning it on the next day did the trick, it just worked!

Oh, sorry :-)

Maybe you can help me with MY problem.
The QNAP keeps throwing up error messages about this:

"Failed to synchronize the time from NTP server."

Is there another server I could use that's a bit more reliable than the one the TS 101 points to, or is it more likely to be a line drop from my ISP ?

Bet you're glad I helped you now ;-) lol

Sounds like a problem with your internet connection.
Do you have any problems connecting to anything else?

I haven't noticed any problem with mine connecting to the time server. Or at least not once I put in the correct setting for my DNS server.

Just changed ISP, so I'll see if it improves.

Happened once with my QNAP. Only noticed it when I checked the error log. I think it may have been due to an IP conflict somewhere on my network since after I flushed the router and allowed DHCP to allocate new IPs it has all been fine.

Is that the only problem? What about the internet radio or any RSS feeds do they work fine?

AFAIK they always have done.
However, that was on 6.22. I've just gone up to 6.3. and haven't checked it out since the upgrade.

I'm avoiding 6.5 for a bit
