Sure this is easy but I can't seem to browse to the NAS box in the Microsoft Windows Network using windows explorer.
I have XP Home SP2 installed and have my Workgroup name set as BG3K, the TS-101 is also in the same Workgroup and it's name is BG3KNAS.
I can set shares to my shared directories my using the IP address such as //192.168.1.2/music but I can't set the share as //BG3KNAS/music or as I said earlier see it in the Workgroup.
I can ping it through IP but not through computer name therefore I have come to the conclusion that my PC can't resolve the TS-101's computer name.
I have just managed to get the 'computer browser' service started but that still does not make any difference the only PC in the Microsoft Windows Network is my PC.
Any pointers would be appreciated as I'm trying to setup a backup facility by storing the backup image on the TS but the software can't browse to the NAS using the Network browse facility and I'm thinking its the same issue?
