Has anyone considered the HP t5525 thin client as a slimserver server? Would it be possible to install slimserver? Are the specs sufficient? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I don't see why not.

Assuming you can get into the system and install your own software on it, they you should be ok with it. It isn't exactly a speed deamon, and there is no internal storage which might en up being a problem.

Basically i think you would need to treat this a lot like some of the NAS boxes out there (like the Synology for example) although it does have a faster processor and more memory than most of them. Probably more expensive too though.
