I am about to order a new HeadRoom Desktop Amp, and will power it with a separate HeadRoom Desktop Power Supply. As I was reading the specs I noticed that the back of the Headroom power supply has six ports for powering other equipment. These ports have 5-pin DIN-plug power receptacles, putting out +/-15VDC.
Is there some way I could find/build a cable that would allow me to use this power supply to power an SB3? Obviously, I would need to find some way to deal with the voltage difference (SB3 needs 5.0VDC), and the different connector. Or maybe this is a job for the Boulder guys who mod SB3s.
(Please excuse my complete ignorance of electronics).
