Nokia 770 -> FLAC

Hi,

I am in the process of buying a 770 to control slimserver once installed on my linkstation.

All my music is currently on the linkstation encoded using FLAC.

I was wondering if you could map the linstation shared drive onto the 770 and then play the flac songs using it as a portable squeezebox.

Does the 770 support/play FLAC files?

Can softsqueeze be run on a 770?

There's a section of the wiki on how to stream to a Nokia 770 which may help you. You might need Slimserver to transcode your FLAC files to MP3 to get it to work.
