Hi,

I own a Squeezebox 3 and I have a LaCie Ethernet Disc (http://www.lacie.com/nl/products/product.htm?pid=10057).

I am able to reach the MP3's on my external harddisk in Windows via a mapping (Q:\MP3) or \\edmini\nas\mp3.

When entering these destinations on SlimServer I get the following error messages:

New value for Playlists Folder rejected:
Oops - "Q:\MP3" doesn't seem to be a valid directory. Try again.
New value for Music Folder rejected:
Oops - "Q:\MP3" doesn't seem to be a valid directory. Try again.

or

New value for Playlists Folder rejected:
Oops - "\\edmini\nas\mp3" doesn't seem to be a valid directory. Try again.
New value for Music Folder rejected:
Oops - "\\edmini\nas\mp3" doesn't seem to be a valid directory. Try again.

So, I was wondering how I should reach my MP3 files on Slimserver.
Any suggestions?

Thanx!

Found the sollution, thanks to Bob if www.WifiSound.nl.
Had to enable the Guest account on the LaCie.
Now I can find my MP3's by entering \\edmini\nas.
