Just wanted to mark the passing of Arthur Lee when I saw NME.com mentioned that Tony Ogden had died too.

Love were definitely an important band and Arthur a great songwriter. I first heard The Damned's cover of 'Alone Again Or' before discovering the original and many other great tunes.
The World of Twist are less seminal but I loved their sole album, Quality Street, none the less. I think they successfully mixed the 'madchester' vibe with the knowing kitsch of Pulp.
