Looking for a new online CD store

The thread over in General got me thinking (and searching) again. A couple months ago AllDirect.com closed down their online music and book store. This was where I bought probably 80-90% of my CDs, as their prices were unbeatable and their service passable.

Now I'm searching for someone that even comes close in terms of price. My first love is jazz and I'm always looking to fill in the back catalogs of many artists, as well as pick up some of the superior sounding remasters being issued. Someone with attractive pricing on newly issued CDs is also a big plus, as I cringe at paying $14-18 for any CD. And, of course, reasonable shipping costs are a must.

After poking around a bit in a dozen or so online music stores over the last couple of days, it looks like Overstock.com may have the best prices. It's not across the board cheaper than the rest, but the difference on many CDs is significant.

Any comments on Overstock.com? I'm about to place a small order to try them out. I thought that when Overstock.com was originally launched they bought (literally) overstock inventory from other vendors and manufacturers. From the looks of their selection I can't see how that could still be true.

For something a bit different there is also CDBaby.com. Idipendant artists selling their own music for a decent price and getting a fair return.

I've only bought one CD from ther and shiping to the UK made it quite expensive, but it was the only way to get it, so i didn't mind.
