My tv remote sound volume affects the squeezebox

Hi,
My jvc (rm-c1100) remote for my tv affects the sound volume for my squeezebox. Is anybody more having this problem. I've disabled support of all other remotes in the setup of my box. I suppose this problem isn't easy to solve.

You say you disabled 'all other remotes'?

Go to Player Settings in the web interface for that player (or any player near JVC equipment) and then under 'remote' turn off the "jvc_dvd" thing.

I have a JVC Tv and it did random things (or the SB would do random things, depending on what I was -trying- to do) until I turned that off.

I have ended up putting a little cloth over the SB3 when I'm not using it. A bit like a parrot in a cage :-}.

When I get around to it, I'm going to try and train the slimserver to use a different remote control.
