how do i get my sb3 to see music stored on a separate external hard drive

ok.. so i have managed to get my SB3 onto my wireless network ( still not quite sure how!!) it can see and play my music stored in 'my music' folder on my hard drive ( via my itunes list), but i also have a amount of music stored on an external hard drive, the SB3 cant see this at present so how do i get it to recognize the music stored on external hard drive as well???

In your "my Music" folder, create a link or shortcut to the music folder on the external drive.
