Squeezebox internal DAC Upgrade

If just the DAC on the squeezebox were upgraded to the Burr Brown 1748KE, what would the benefits be? Or are there other modifications that should go along with it? Also would an upgraded DAC benefit both the analog and digital outputs? Sorry for all the questions. It just seems that with the 1748KE being so inexpensive to buy and with the moderate level of difficulty to swap out, it would be one of the mods on the "to do list". Sorta along the lines of the power supply. Thanks.

The dac isn't the bottleneck there. I would go for the analog output stage and rca connections first. And that's from absolute inexperience.

I suppose if you're good with a soldering iron...
