Greetings,
If the PC running slimserver is not running does the latest squeeze box have alarm clock functionality?

Yes, an alarm clock is available through the Squeezenetwork.

Greetings,
I logged in to squeezenetwork and do not see an alarm clock option.
Remember I do not have a squeezebox so maybe that is the problem.

This may be a problem, yes. But you can even log in using softsqueeze
(imho). You then have to register that player in your account
(instructions are on the site).

Greetings,
I installed the software. I see in the server where I can name my softsqueeze but do not see where to get a pin for it.
The softsqueeze and slimserver are running on my xp laptop

Once your player is connected to the squeezenetwork go to the player
menu's Settings/SqueezeNetwork PIN.

I wish I could do that and George W. Bush would no longer exist.
Hi,
I wanted to get back to the original topic, I want do use an sb3 also as an alarm clock. The SB3 should be connected via WiFi. If my Router crashes. Would the SB3 still do some Alarm sound (no matter what)? Or would it just do nothing

No net, no alarm. No SB3 functionality at all. That's the price for it
being slim.
