Hello togehter

Perhaps a newbie question, but I din't find something neither in the forum or in the faq.

I have a slimp3 since a week and I am very happy with it.
I read there is possibility to litsten to radio stations (ex. shoutcasts) without the pc / server running. Is that true? also with slimp3?

Listening to online radio without a local server is SB2/3 only, through
the Squeezenetwork.

Shut down yes: a simple plugin could do this (there's already a plugin
available which will execute any script).

Wake on lan isn't an option with the SliMP3. It's available with the
SB2/3, though.

Many plugins can be found on wiki.slimdevices.com. Have a look at the
"Execute Script" plugin.

http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.cgi?PluginServerUtilities

You'd then also need a small batch file to shut down your server. For
information about the shutdown.exe command, see eg:
