Digitally Imported Classic Techno:

They also have a "Progressive" Techno channel:

http://www.di.fm/mp3/progressive96k.pls

which isn't as good, but I flip to it when I don't like the song on Classic Techno. :-)

You have to listen to the Dub Beautiful Collective's OEM Radio. Great stuff - a lot of it from live recordings not available on CD.

I like several of the Digitally Imported stations, also Denmark's Rise FM.

The DI Stations are pretty good,

But I can thoroughly recommend the following

Afterhours DJ's.org

http://www.afterhoursdjs.org/ahdjs192.m3u

ETN.FM Progressive Channel

http://www.etn.fm/progressive-high.m3u

Cheers,

Andy

I tried to tune in to this station through slimserver 6.5 and get:

2006-05-01 08:52:30.7683 ERROR: AsyncHTTP: Couldn't resolve IP address for: www.afterhoursdjs.org

But I can access the site from a web browser.

Works for me. Maybe you have a dns server problem. As an alternative, you could always add it to your SqueezeNetwork favourites and play it that way.

I can access it from a PC on my local network, but not through slimserver on the same PC.

It was mentioned in the original post, but I also enjoy Groove Salad. I've also found that a Pandora station seeded with "William Orbit" gives a similar laid-back-techno stream.

Another one to add to the list:

http://1.eu.fast-serv.com:8950/listen.pls

it's for the Cybernetic Broadcasting System.

I've added a WikiRadio playlist with all (I think) of the stations mentioned in this thread. It's called BestElectronic. For those who haven't seen WikiRadio, have a look here: http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.cgi?WikiRadio (it's great!). Obviously, in the wiki spirit, everyone should feel free to edit the BestElectronic opml file to add even more stations!

EDIT: I think I might also add some stations from http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=21653

Cool - note that I also posted a file with all the Digitally Imported stations on a while ago - they have something like 20 streams with many different genres.

Yes, I've played around with that one. Also, someone's posted a full SomaFM list.

Hi All,
Please excuse my ignorance...new to this!
I just loaded the WikiRadio plugin...it shows up on SS but I cannot find it on the SB3.

Also, what do I do with the XML file with station addresses?

Thanks in advance...great thread
Chris

There should be an entry called Wiki radio under the internet radio menu - after Slim devices picks, liev 365 etc.

You do nothing with the XML - Wiki Radio reads it to give the station list.

May I recommend onlight radio russia. Superb playlist on auto and some DJ sessions to boot (downloadable in the archive section). It's been on my sb3 all day :)
