Who have you seen live lately? I've got tickets to Robert Cray on March 31.

I recently saw We Are Scientists, Arctic Monkeys and Maximo Park on the NME tour in Manchester.
All the bands were fantastic but IMHO Maximo Park blew the Monkeys away.
Am going to see We Are Sceintists and Maximo Park again when they start there solo UK tours soon.
Best live act I have seen in a long time are the Waifs a fantastic independent Australia band, only 200 people in the crowd, amazing, how live music should be.

Im off to see another Ausralian band in April (in London) that has made a huge impact on the Aussie scene last year - Wolfmother. They are very much in the Led Zeppelin mould, but it is very good. I'm hoping that it will be a small crowd - concerts detract from the whole experience for many bands.

Most recent was the Blind Boys of Alabama at 'the shedd' (see theshedd.org .. especially if you're in Oregon). A great venue for them, since it's the former First Baptist Church.
I just hope I have that much vitality and joy when I'm in my 70's.
One of the best 'concert highs' I've had, and it wasn't even from pot smoke or booze.

These guys are very good. Has that classic old-school hard rock sound that I thought was long gone.
Definitely there's a Led Zeppelin sound with the lead vocalist's voice and the self-titled album artwork, but it can be somewhat heavier like early metal. And there's a definite punk influence as well.
I'd describe them as a cross between Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Green Day.
I'll be on the lookout for more of their material.
