Are you interested in a music-discussion forum?

I'm afraid Skunk and I kidnapped another thread to begin a discussion of live music recordings, which got me to thinking about a separate forum to discuss music. That's really why we're all here: because we appreciate and enjoy listening to recorded music. This is truly a worldwide and growing community, so a forum discussing music could provide opportunities to discover new artists and albums. I don't really know how to post this as a poll, but if one of the mods would assist, I'd appreciate it.

I am for such a thread. One thing is to get some hot gear, but I also like to hear new music; especially music that show of my gear in addition to being really good.

I too am very interested. My only concern is that my appreciation of the forums 'as is' is so high, I hate to ask for more. Certainly such forums already exist on other sites, but I agree we have a unique group of individuals from which to draw musical suggestions.

Perhaps it's time for a new site dedicated to audiophiles who use the SB?

I don't see the need for it here. This is the Slim Devices forum. I would suggest checking out the music forum on Metacritics, if you're a really die-hard music lover, especially of indie stuff.

There are only two posts in the Espanol forum, both stickies. I meant if we wanted to discuss music we could all learn Spanish and go there.
