I have been listening to my music library on my puta with some home grown shell scripts. it works fine.
Now, I would like to get a SB3, so the first order of businesswas to get SlimServer 6.2 up and running. Done. The second order of business is to createa playlist. I do not yet have a SB3 to play. But I need to createa playlist so I can look into it's internal format so I can write a shell script to convert my home-grown 'playlists' to something more 'insustry standard'.
I tried creating a playlist using the web interface but the playlist does not appear in the 'playlists' directory that I have configured. But perhaps this is because I don't yet have a SB3?
Don't know. What I'd really like to see is a raw playlsit file so I can write my script to convert all of my home-grown playlists to a format that the SlimServer can understand.
Thanks, Jim
