multichannel audio support ?

Hi,
I have some dvd of live concerts I'd like to rip. Is there a way to play multichannel audio files (ac3, dts, aac, others) using sb2 ? I connected SB2 to my amp (support both dd and dts) using an optical cable.

I've read that dts etc should be played straight through the SB2 without interference, so assuming your DAC understands it you should not have any problems.
