This morning I woke up to my "Morning Alarm" playlist via the standard alarm set to play on just saturday morning. Worked fine.
I turned off the SqueezeBoxG (synced with SB2).
This evening I turned the SBG back on and switched the saturday morning alarm clock off. I then went to select an album to play via browse albums. I navigated to a standard album (mp3 format) that I have played a few times before, and pressed play.
SlimServer crashed with the following error:
Can't locate object method "content_type" via package "file:///M:/Music/SlimServer%20Playlists/Morning%20alarm.m3u" (perhaps you forgot to load "file:///M:/Music/SlimServer%20Playlists/Morning%20alarm.m3u"?) at /PerlApp/Slim/Control/Command.pm line 1108.
I found this strange in that I wasn't attempting to play the Morning Alarm playlist.
Phil
I had a similar crash with the same version. I had just finished listening to Internet radio, then tried to play an artist from Browse Artists. I think I had changed from No Shuffle to Shuffle in the interim. This problem is reproduceable.
Can't locate object method "content_type" via package "http://209.237.251.146:80" (perhaps you forgot to load "http://209.237.251.146:80"?) at /home/slim/SlimServer_v2005-08-26/Slim/Control/Command.pm line 1108.

Please file a bug.

Okay. bug 2031 raised.
This morning I had another crash. Similar situation; I had been playing something fine, then tried to play a radio station via Public Radio Fan. I got the following error. Do you think this is related, or should I file a separate bug?
Can't locate object method "path" via package "http://wxpnsc.streamguys.com/listen.pls" (perhaps you forgot to load "http://wxpnsc.streamguys.com/listen.pls"?) at /PerlApp/Slim/Player/Playlist.pm line 595.

Can't locate object method "path" via package "http://wxpnsc.streamguys.com/listen.pls" (perhaps you forgot to load "http://wxpnsc.streamguys.com/listen.pls"?) at /PerlApp/Slim/Player/Playlist.pm line 595.
I'm getting an alarm-initiated server crash with this error, too.
Since bug 2031 was marked fixed in change 4110, I opened a new bug 2077. I'm at change 4159. The bug has the details of playlist and error message.

Thanks... my bad. Marked 2077 as a dupe.

I've committed a possible fix. Those who can, please update svn and
let me know if this does the trick. I haven't been able to reproduce
the particular crash.
