View Full Version : Please put this in the printed booklet
I just got my replacement Squeezebox2 and while I was entering the wireless network name, I made a mistake and ended up with too many characters. No where does the booklet mention how to backspace or delete characters when doing text entry. It took me quite a while to stumble on it with the play button. This should really be in the printed Owner's Guide that comes in the box.

Sue, could you please file that as a request at:
http://bugs.slimdevices.com
There should be a product section for Documentation, and that way it will not be
forgotten.
cheers,
kdf
FYI, I think you can just press the left arrow too.

That let me move backwards in order to type over what I had already entered, but it didn't let me delete the extra characters. I tried converting the extra characters to spaces at the end, but didn't work for the SSID.
Absolutely right. This important hint got dropped in the editing of
the manual.
Will get fixed in the next update.
Sorry about that.
