How do I install 6.1b2

Hello. Due to hang problems with the squeezebox2, I've decided to give the beta a try. But i'm having difficulties installing it.

I have tried installing 6.02, then overwriting the files with the beta2 files and then forcing a firmware flash, however, the squeezebox2 still displays firmware version 11 and server version 6.02.

The readme for 6.1b2 mentions getting the firmware from 6.1b1, but this is not obviously available on the website for download.

Not sure what to do now.

you should download the EXE and run it, just as you did for 6.0.1. You should
not have to do any copying over existing files. The installer will do what it
needs. When you are done, press and hold the brightness key to upgrade the
firmware (the files are included in the server install). Normally you would
get a message on the player to do an upgrade, but b2 missed the version
numbering change needed to trigger the message.
