Softsqueeze2 works with Squeezenetwork?

Hi - probably the wrong place to ask this but... Just wondering if anybody has Softsqueeze2 (SQ2) working with the Squeezenetwork (SQN) or whether it always needs Slimserver.

I can now connect to the SQN from SQ2 and it looks like traffic is coming in but there's no audio.

I'm finding SQ2 to be a good client but I guess its real purpose is to demonstrate the Squeezebox2 itself? When a European SQN server comes online I'll be buying the 'box...

It does work for me. Takes a few seconds to fill the buffer, but then
there's sound (tested some Shoutcasts).

Why wait for a european server? I'm in Switzerland, and the existing
servers are working fine. There is some lag when navigating the channels,
but that's not seriously hindering me from using it.
