Recommended ripping software for windows?

I second this statement. There is no such thing as lossless normalization.
Any time you do normalization you are affecting the original recording to
some degree. It would be far better to simply use something like mp3gain to
adjust your files where they could be recovered rather than making permanent
alterations to the waveforms themselves during the ripping process that you
can never undo.

Are there mp3 rippers that actually normalize by modifying the
waveforms? Uck. I've always used either mp3gain or Chris Vaill's
Normalize in the past, both of which do the Right Thing(tm), and just
assumed that the normalization features built into the rippers would do
the same thing.

Ok, here's another approach -- do any of the windows rippers (cdex, eac,
or audiograbber) allow a script to be executed at the end of the
encoding process to call mp3gain to post-process the ripped mp3s?
