Mark - maybe you can define what "cheap" and ""expensive is for the dealer?

How did you know whether it was an improvement? The dealer didn't do a blind
test for you? He/she really should have made you guess.

Hi Jim,

My cable was a 20UKP QED P75 (3m), while the dealers
cable was a Chord (didn't catch the model name) at
200 UKP for 1m.

I admit that we didn't do any blind testing, but the audible
difference was clear. Remember that up until that point my
firm belief was that it would make no difference. If there
was no difference to be heard I would have more easily
accepted that than what I did hear.

I agree that blind testing needs to be done on this, and
I'll look at that next week.
