Hi all,
I've an interesting problem with Slimserver 5.4.0 running on Gentoo Linux.
Every once in a while, the slimserver software just appears to die - i.e.
the Squeezebox stops responding and the slimserver process is no longer
around on the server. This is a problem I've had on *many* other versions
of the Slimserver software too.
Can anyone please reccommend to me any debug switches/config changes I can
make to start to diagnose this particular problem. The log file isn't
particularly helpful to me right now, other than:
getpeername() on closed socket GEN20 at
/usr/lib/perl5/5.8.2/i586-linux/IO/Socket.pm line 206 (#2)
and
Use of uninitialized value in length at
/home/slimserver/Slim/Music/Info.pm
line 2322 (#1)
If someone could let me know how I can start to gather some more info on
this to try and debug, then I'd be very grateful.
TIA, and a happy new year to all!
Cheers,
Jon.
